Emmanuel has two main teachers - Dyfed and Helen Roberts. Both have degrees in theology and are experienced preachers in different church traditions. Most Sunday mornings at Emmanuel will have some teaching content which will be recorded and placed on this page. The Holy Spirit - Part 4

In this part Dyfed looks at how the Holy Spirit is present in our becoming Christians in the first place. From Titus he looks at the regeneration of the individual and then links it to the regeneration of the whole creation.

 

The Holy Spirit - Part 3

In the third sermon Dyfed looks at the connection between between the Holy Spirit and Jesus. Looking at Jesus' conception and baptism he shares how the Holy Spirit was essential to Jesus' ministry and that as his followers today we also are filled by the same Spirit.

In his second sermon Dyfed answers the question 'Who is the Holy Spirit?' In sharing God's nature, the Spirit shares God's character and mission. The Spirit is not, therefore an optional extra.
